Arizona's newest town
For years San Tan Valley was an unincorporated community, and many residents used Queen Creek mailing addresses. On August 5, 2025, voters approved incorporating it as a town. Pinal County's notice before the election said a new town would officially begin on July 1, 2026. Because the town is so new, check with the Town of San Tan Valley or Pinal County about which office handles your grading or building permit.
